Can a foreigner own 100% of a company in Paraguay?

How long does it take to open a company in Paraguay?

With complete documentation, it usually takes between 2 and 4 weeks until obtaining the RUC and being cleared to operate.

What taxes are paid in Paraguay?

The main taxes have a general rate of 10%: VAT, IRE (corporate income tax) and IRP (personal income tax), among the lowest in the region. We expand on this in why invest in Paraguay.

Do I need residency to open a company?

It is not mandatory to incorporate the company, but you must appoint a legal representative. Many investors process residency in parallel for greater autonomy.

Which company type is best?

For most projects, the EAS is the most agile and cost-effective. The SRL and SA are suitable for structures with several partners or more complex needs.
